Before Atlantis disappeared beneath the waves it was a thriving city populated by the descendants of Poseidon. To protect his children the Greek God of the Sea gave them a conch shell from his necklace. According to legend whoever held the conch could summon the power of Poseidon to do their bidding. With their island nation gone the remaining survivors went underground as they worked to build their nation back to the power it once was. A secret society wants what was once their property and they’re willing to kill for it. Their top assassin is sent to steal the Conch of Poseidon from the Museum of Natural History in New York. With two dead security guards left in her wake the Raven leads her pursuers through the streets of New York. As he is forced to face demons from his past police detective Floyd Reese is forced to deal with his own demons as he’s forced to work with a rookie FBI agent to solve the case. While he struggles to find a common ground with his new partner it quickly becomes apparent that there’s more to the case than the F.B.I. let on. The race to find the legendary artifact from Atlantis becomes a race to save the world from a madman. With forces beyond their imagining controlling the outcome one question is asked Can the powers of an ancient Greek God influence the modern world? Find out in the Call of Poseidon.

The writer brings you into the story and doesn't let you go. I read this in two days and enjoyed it thoroughly. He gives enough detail without bogging the reader down with unnecessary and boring details--he strives to entertain, not lecture. His characters are rich and you feel like you know them by the book's end. Very entertaining overall.

My only negative criticism: not enough commas. Then again, I tend to use too many. However, lack of them made reading some passages a little difficult.

I would highly recommend this, especially if you like the old Dan Brown style of writing.

Call of Poseidon CP Bialois 9781466386358 Books Reviews

Call of Poseidon was a great book. It was very easy to read and kept me interested with every word that I read. When I usually read a book, I only read it once. This will definitely not be the case with Call of Poseidon. If this book were to become a movie, I would be first in line to watch. I look forward to more books from CP Bialois.
I read this book a while ago and have now gotten around to a review. I have known its author for many years as a personal friend but when I read this book and did this review I put all those personal feelings aside.

When I first started reading this I will admit it was a little hard to get into, but as I flipped through the pages I found myself lost in a world of crime, mystery, and a turn at almost every corner.. There were nights I would pull this out and start reading and before I realized it I had read 100 pages or more and an hour had passed.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great story mixed with Greek mythology, that's mainly why I was attracted to this book to begin with. The author does a great job of engaging his audience and making sure you get not only a great story but also great emotion in it's characters..
This was a very interesting story to read. It's not easy to show the culprit and motives early in the story, and still manage to surprise the reader later on.

Call of Poseidon is written in a style similar to Dan Brown. If you're a fan of ancient conspiracies mixed in with crime dramas, this is for you.
This book was hard to put down once I started reading. It is well written and keeps you in suspense until the end. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it is a Dan Brown-esque book. Unfortunately whoever edited the book did a bad job. If you are the kind who can gloss over all the many, many typos and grammatical errors then this book is a must-read.
Stayed up and finished.. Enjoyed the story
I recommend it to those who like sci fi
Hope the story continues
Very interesting take on the lost continent of Atlantis and the power that the Greek gods of old hold to this day.
